Solving problems in plastic injection molding

The seminar Solving problems in plastic injection molding took place 24.9.2026 in České Budějovice, Czechia. Organiser: KUBOUŠEK s.r.o..

The seminars' academic supervisor and lead instructor is Ing. Lubomír Zeman – a recognised expert with many years of experience in plastics processing.

The seminar focuses on identifying and eliminating defects in injection-moulded parts, understanding physical processes within the material and optimising production conditions to achieve consistent production quality.

Why Attend the Seminars:

  • you will gain practical experience applicable in production
  • you will learn to solve processing problems effectively
  • you will understand material behaviour during injection moulding
  • you will reduce scrap rates and optimise processes

The course is particularly suitable for process engineers and machine setters. No prior knowledge is required.

Course Outline:

  • Injection moulding of thermoplastic parts to defined quality requirements
  • Design for manufacturability of thermoplastic injection-moulded parts
  • Physical processes occurring in polymer materials during injection moulding
  • Deterioration, ageing, corrosion, failure and degradation of thermoplastics and parts injection-moulded from them
  • The influence of additives in polymer materials on the quality of thermoplastic injection-moulded parts
  • Residual stress in thermoplastic injection-moulded parts
  • Defects in thermoplastic injection-moulded parts and their elimination

Course fee – 9 990,- excluding VAT
