Looking for a way to improve the quality of plastic parts while reducing energy costs? The MJ6-i dryer with advanced control and the MATSUI ARV38 deduster deliver stable processes, lower scrap rates, and a fast return on investment. Solutions available at PMES Technologies s.r.o. prove that even demanding challenges in plastic production can be solved effectively.

MATSUI MJ6-i: Intelligent Resin Dryer

We are pleased to introduce the MJ6-i dryer from the Japanese company MATSUI MFG, designed with a focus on energy efficiency, reliability, and consistent drying quality. Its main benefits include:

1. Outstanding energy efficiency and savings:

  • Advanced “i-Plas” control system: The dryer continuously monitors load requirements and automatically adjusts energy consumption, delivering savings of up to 83% compared to older technologies.
  • Continuous operation: Material is dried only to the required temperature and airflow, preventing over-drying and discoloration of products.
  • Heat recovery: Waste heat is used to preheat regeneration air, further reducing energy usage.

2. Stable and reliable drying:

  • "Honeycomb" desiccant wheel: With a lifetime of up to 15 years, it ensures a stable dew point (down to -40 °C or even lower, -60 °C) throughout operation, without the need for replacement.
  • Resistant to external influences: Engineered to perform even in extreme humidity conditions, as commonly found in Asia, where standard dryers often struggle to maintain the required dew point.
  • Over-drying prevention: The system actively prevents over-drying, reducing the risk of yellowing in final products.

3. Advanced and intuitive control:

  • 7-inch touchscreen: Clear, user-friendly interface for setting and monitoring the drying process.
  • Graphical display: Visualizes drying status, operating history, and key data, simplifying monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Easy adjustments: Temperature and scheduling can be changed directly on screen.

4. Compact design and easy maintenance:

  • Space-saving layout: Optimized internal design reduces footprint without compromising performance.
  • Easy access for service: Front access panel and other features simplify routine maintenance.
  • Cyclone filter: Integrated cyclone filter captures dust before it reaches the main filter.

In short, the MJ6-i is a modern, energy-efficient, and highly reliable dryer. With its advanced technology and intelligent features, it delivers stable, high-quality resin drying that helps improve product quality and reduce scrap rates.

According to customer experience, the dryer performs even in cases where standard dryers fail to solve persistent problems. Many processors report having to use additional dryers or secondary drying systems, which significantly increase energy demand – issues that the MJ6-i can eliminate.

Experience with the MATSUI ARV38 Dust Separator

The MATSUI ARV is a device designed to remove dust and fine particles from plastic granulates used in industrial processes such as injection molding.

  • Purpose: It removes dust and fine particles from plastic pellets to prevent defects in the final plastic products.
  • How it works: Uses a unique airflow and filtration system to separate dust from pellets directly in the conveying line.
  • Benefits:
  • Easily integrates into existing material handling systems.
  • Improves product quality and reduces scrap.
  • Tool-free maintenance.
  • Up to 150% more effective at removing dust than conventional methods.

The reference below clearly shows that the device is highly effective and offers a very fast return on investment.

ARV38 - MATSUI - zariadenie na odstranovanie prachu

One example comes from LINASET, a company producing automotive lighting. After installing the ARV38 (priced today around 1,600€), they reduced scrap caused by dust-related surface defects by over 50%.

The evaluation compared production quality before installation (April–May 2024) with the period after (July–August 2024). Thanks to the reduced defect rate, the investment paid off immediately relative to the value of the molded parts.

Other customers have reported similar improvements in production quality and reductions in scrap after installing the ARV38.

Both devices will be showcased at our booth at K 2025.
