20 years of Remarkplast in Slovakia
2006 was a turning point for the Remarkplast group. After more than a decade of building the brand in the Czech Republic, management decided to expand into Slovakia and establish the manufacturing company Remarkplast Slovakia, headquartered in Vráble. Today, on the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, it is fitting to look back – but above all, to look ahead.
From Recycling to Premium Compounding
Remarkplast Slovakia specialises in the production of compounds and re-compounds on state-of-the-art twin-screw extruders. The materials are designed for the automotive, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and consumer goods industries.
The REMAPYLEN®, REMAKOLON®, REMABLEND® and REMASTRAN® product lines have established themselves as a fully fledged alternative to standard prime granulates and are used in technically demanding applications, including the automotive segment.
Production quality is underpinned by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, as well as compliance with IATF – MAQMSR requirements. An integral part of the process is the cooperation with the accredited laboratory Testpolymer EU s.r.o., which ensures the continuous inspection of both incoming raw materials and finished products.
Development, Innovation and the Circular Economy
The holding – which today comprises six companies across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany and employs more than 350 people – invests heavily in research and development. Its dedicated R&D facility focuses on the modification of thermoplastic compounds, the development of tailor-made materials, and the targeted increase of recycled content in its products.
The holding's motto – "We bring plastics back to life" – is not merely a marketing slogan but a tangible strategy. At a time when the circular economy is becoming a regulatory necessity, Remarkplast holds a clear lead thanks to its long-standing experience with recycled raw materials.
