MSV 2025 in Brno: Technology, a strong program full of innovations and networking opportunities
From October 7 to 10, 2025, Brno will become the center of industrial activity. The International Engineering Fair will showcase cutting-edge technologies, an engaging program, and opportunities to establish new business partnerships. This year’s edition will also be marked by the theme of transformation and new challenges for the industry.

A comprehensive view of Czech industry and new programme features

MSV is a traditional platform where technology leaders, manufacturing companies, start-ups, investors and research institutions meet. Alongside exhibits and innovations, the fair is also a place for connecting experts and company representatives from around the world. This year's 66th edition will highlight the current issues shaping Czech industry and the economy.

“The International Engineering Fair showcases innovations and reflects current trends and the transformation of Czech industry. It is not just about engineering technologies or digitalisation; everything is interconnected today, and the fair is a place where we can take a comprehensive look at industry. That is why this year we will focus on segments that are set to receive enormous investment in the coming years, whether in energy or the defence industry,” says Jan Kubata, CEO of Veletrhy Brno.

The fair's broader scope will be reflected in the accompanying programme, which introduces attractive new features. Key conference events will include the Assembly of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, the Forum of the Czech Energy Association and the management summit DefenCEO, focusing on contracts in the defence industry. As part of the opening evening, the winner of the prestigious Manager of the Year competition organised by the Czech Management Association will be announced at MSV for the first time. 3D printing will also be represented by the specialised exhibition 3D EXPO, dedicated to additive technologies. The most important matchmaking event will be Kontakt-Kontrakt, organised by the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce. Awards for industrial design will be presented for the second time, and a Design Lounge will open for the first time, offering expert advice under the auspices of the CzechTrade Design Centre.

Technology up close: ROBOTY, Digital Factory 2.0 and the autonomy pavilion

The ROBOTY 2025 exhibition will open in pavilion P for the first time. ABB will present its latest generation of collaborative robots there. FANUC will bring a basketball-playing robot and demonstrate how precise and entertaining automation can be. Other participants include Gimatic, Vodafone Business, ATEsystem and HAHN Automation. The project also includes the themed MSV Tour route: Robotics before your eyes, with guided tours of selected exhibitors.

At the same time, the successful Digital Factory 2.0 project continues, offering a glimpse into the future of industrial manufacturing in pavilion F. The project's gold partner is the National Centre for Industry 4.0. It is preparing the technology and consultancy sections of its stand in cooperation with RICAIP Testbed Prague, which is part of the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics at the Czech Technical University in Prague. The partners participating in the exhibition will include major names such as Siemens, KUKA, T-Mobile, Česká spořitelna, Smart Informatics, DEL and EIT Manufacturing. ŠKODA AUTO and PHARIS are also joining the Digital Factory 2.0 project for the first time this year. The organisers are also preparing a new interactive digital stage concept in the space. Representatives of industry leaders and start-ups will appear here with case studies, interviews and discussions in which visitors can also participate. The programme will address issues such as the implementation of digitalisation, how modern robotics works in practice, and the options for energy optimisation in industrial companies.

The third centre showcasing state-of-the-art technologies will be pavilion Y, which will be transformed into the autonomy pavilion. It will build on the living laboratory project, which provides year-round conditions for testing smart solutions at the exhibition grounds.  Companies will thus share the results of their work at MSV – from robotic cars to parcel delivery by drones.

Traditional Czech brands and official international participation

As usual, exhibitors are showing strong interest in participating in this year's fair. The more comprehensive view of Czech industry is reflected in a broader representation of traditional domestic brands, extending well beyond engineering. Alongside Škoda Auto, Česká spořitelna, which is celebrating the 200th anniversary of its founding this year, will also be present. It will participate in the Digital Factory 2.0 project and will also have its own exhibition in outdoor area K.

MSV 2024 Brno

As usual, international companies will be strongly represented at MSV. Most will come from Germany, Slovakia and Poland, but substantial participation is also expected from Asian countries, including technology leaders China and Japan. MSV's significant position in the global calendar of industrial technology trade fairs is also confirmed by ten official national participations. This year, Slovakia, Austria, France, Poland, Hungary, China, India, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Japan will have exhibitions supported by state institutions. Services provided to businesses by various state institutions will once again be brought together in one place – in the Czech National Exhibition. This year, the joint stand in pavilion P will also be joined by Contact Ukraine, the trade fair centre supporting cooperation with Ukraine.

Energy as a highlighted theme at MSV

The Czech Republic is entering a period of fundamental energy transformation. A combination of nuclear power, renewable sources, gas technologies and smart infrastructure is coming to the fore. This brings enormous challenges, but also opportunities – not only for energy companies, but also for industry and every consumer. The very first forum of the Czech Energy Association will address key issues of the near future. How can Czech industry remain competitive? How can energy remain affordable for households? How quickly can modern transmission and distribution networks be built? How can the security and stability of supplies be ensured in the process? Representatives of the new Energy Association will address key topics at the forum, which takes place on 8 October from 10:00 during MSV.

Logistics solutions of the future

There is strong interest in the biennial Transport and Logistics trade fair, traditionally held in pavilion A2. Due to the high number of exhibitors, the related themed exhibition Packaging Live has been moved to pavilion G1. This unique project introduces visitors to the world of packaging in practice – from design and printing through filling to the final display. On 7 October, this area will also be complemented thematically by the specialist conference Innovative Logistics, during which the results of the prestigious The Best of Czech and Slovak Logistics competition will be officially announced in the individual categories.
