Biodegradable plastics are not the solution to the pollution of the oceans
Cílem je shrnout aktuální situaci v oblasti znečištění moří a oceánů plastovým odpadem a v této souvislosti pozornost věnuje zejména tématu biodegradabilních plastů. Zpráva shrnuje že: "The adoption of plastic products labelled as ‘biodegradable’ will not bring about a significant decrease either in the quantity of plastic entering the ocean or the risk of physical and chemical impacts on the marine environment".
