URBIS 2026 - Smart Cities Meetup

The URBIS 2026 trade fair and conference will take place from June 2-4, 2026, at the Brno Exhibition Centre and will offer cities and municipalities of all sizes a unique concentration of practical solutions, inspiration and opportunities for cooperation. The entire event will be concentrated in Pavilion V, where visitors will find two program stages, exhibitor expositions and demonstrations of technologies in real operation. URBIS has long been one of the key meetings for local governments, experts, companies and innovators who share specific procedures and tools here that can be used in the daily practice of cities and municipalities – without the need for complex investments or administration.

The exhibition is thematically divided into several zones that reflect the main challenges of current local governments – social innovation, mobility, security, energy and digitalization, and climate and sustainability. Each zone has its own presentation area and is complemented by a professional program, with a significant concentration of activities taking place especially in the mobility, security and energy with digitalization zones.

Part of the exhibition section also includes technological incubation, agile pilots and living labs, which show how it is possible to test innovations directly in the conditions of cities and municipalities, and a national consultation point where local government representatives can resolve their specific questions with specialists. Practical demonstrations of technologies in real operation, which take place both in Pavilion V and in the adjacent outdoor areas, also play an important role.
