Kolín - Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile (TPCA) has once again extended its production shutdown due to coronavirus.

Výroba by se měla obnovit 18. května, původně se mělo začít vyrábět už v pondělí 4. května, řekl dnes ČTK mluvčí TPCA Tomáš Paroubek. Podle informací ČTK je jedním z důvodů to, že kvůli koronaviru zůstávají uzavřené klíčové trhy firmy, mimo jiné Itálie, Velká Británie nebo Španělsko.

"Vzhledem k akceleraci koronaviru v různých evropských zemích nebo regionech a jeho dopadu na veřejné zdraví, hospodářství a společnost, rozhodla TPCA prodloužit dobu pozastavení výroby," řekl Paroubek.

Například mladoboleslavská Škoda Auto obnovila v pondělí výrobu ve všech třech svých výrobních závodech v České republice.
