ARBURG Partner Eugen Hehl was bestowed an award as an outstanding entrepreneur on 5 May 2015: he received the Baden-Württemberg Competence Prize for Innovation and Quality, which is awarded annually by business consultancy TQU Group and trade fair organiser P.E. Schall.

Entrepreneurial vision in the advancement of ARBURG

At the age of 86, Eugen Hehl, who is still active as an advisory ARBURG Partner, accepted the personal Competence Prize for entrepreneurial vision, innovation, social commitment and sustainability. Together with his brother Karl Hehl, who passed away in 2010, he turned the family-run company into a leading global machine manufacturer and promoted Sales and internationalisation for more than six decades. ARBURG currently employs around 2,400 staff worldwide, of whom some 2,000 are based in Germany. Lossburg in the northern Black Forest is the central production location for all ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines and the freeformer for industrial additive manufacturing.
