Low density polyethylene, sometimes referred to as low density polyethylene. It is most often used to make plastic films, which are mostly transparent and touch soft (unlike HDPE films). It is also used for the manufacture of cable insulation, shrink wrapping films, plastic bags, plastic packaging, plastic baskets and crates, slides for playgrounds, asphalt mix modifications.
High density polyethylene, sometimes referred to as High Density Polyethylene. HDPE is widely used, for example in the production of cooked bags, PET bottle caps, baby bottles, water pipes, gas pipelines, chemically resistant pipes, fuel tanks for cars, detergent packs, insulating stickers, welded products.
A transparent and brittle polymer is called polystyrene for common use (standard polystyrene, GPPS). Standard polystyrene is produced, for example, Clear products that look like plexiglass - examples can be different packaging, test tubes used in health and lab, etc.
The main area of EPS application - packaging of goods, production of disposable tableware, containers for food products, thermal insulation and, of course, construction. Fluid, one-component polyurethane injection resin for waterproofing structures, ground and rocks subjected to water seepage. Purgel reacts in contact with water, and forms a waterproofing stable semi-rigid foam. Purgel reacts also in case of no water present, and forms a flexible injection material.
For high pressure casting of medium and heavy duty aluminium and magnesium castings, where a good finish, soldering protection and high perfomance is required. The product excellent wetting and film building capabilities ensure a uniform coating throughout the die across a large temperature range.
KÖSTER Elastic Roof is an elastic, crack bridging, and solvent free waterproofing material for dry and slightly damp substrates. The fast drying foil-like coating is highly flexible, watertight, and water vapor permeable. The coating is resistant against aging, hydrolysis, UV-rays, frost, and de-icing salts.
Transparent, 2-component, liquid epoxy resin on a bisphenol A/F-base. Epoxy FAS 100 is an unpigmented epoxy resin binder that is used as an impregnation agent, primer, levelling layer and for the production of compression resistant mortars, flow mortars, blinding layers for blinded covers.
