TruPrint 3000: High-performance metal 3D printing without overheating thanks to integrated cooling

New active cooling in the TruPrint 3000 system maintains a constant temperature in the process area. This allows the full power of 700 W to be utilised without the risk of overheating the material. This significantly improves both the quality and service life of printed parts, which is crucial for critical components, e.g. in the automotive or aerospace industry.

Faster cooling also improves reproducibility – the ability to repeatedly print the same part with the same properties. This is essential, for example, in the production of impact-resistant components for series-production vehicles.

Higher power and a larger laser spot increase productivity

Thanks to special optics, TRUMPF was able to increase the laser spot diameter from 80 µm to 200 µm. This makes it possible to cover a larger area on the build platform without reducing quality. The result is significantly higher productivity without compromisesin the accuracy or strength of parts.
