The plastics industry meeting of the region CEPM arrives in Belgrade
The 9th edition of the Central European Plastics Meeting
The Central European Plastics Meeting will be held in Serbia from 2-4 June this year. The first two days in Belgrade will feature a conference, exhibition and business meetings, while on the third day, participants will visit Serbian companies.
Over the past nine years, the event has grown into an important platform for the plastics industry in Central Europe. Visitors come not only from Hungary and Serbia, but also from several countries in the region, and even from Germany, Austria and Italy.
The event opens up new markets
The choice of venue this year is no coincidence. Serbia is one of the last remaining, less integrated but dynamic markets in the region, offering significant growth potential.
According to the organizers, the Serbian market is also a kind of gateway. The language and cultural links mean that a presence not only locally but also in the Bosnian, Kosovar and northern Macedonian markets can open up opportunities. This may be particularly interesting for EU member Central European companies, which have so far had a less presence in these countries.
Not just a conference, but a business network
One of the biggest attractions of the event is its practical focus. Participants will not only be able to listen to presentations, but also to make immediate contact with potential partners.
The pass gives you access to a ready-made, working business network where companies can directly find new collaboration opportunities. In addition, the organizers will also focus on the informal side of networking, with shared meals and informal discussions playing an important role.
Factory visits organized on the third day will bring the local industrial environment even closer, allowing participants to learn first-hand about the functioning of the Serbian market.
What makes the Plastics Meeting special is that the organizing background is Hungarian, while the event is becoming more and more regional. This duality helps to bridge the gap between Central European companies and new emerging markets.
