Interplastics Company Ltd. specializes in the supply so. off grade materials. These are materials produced in the manufacture of primary materials, LDPE, HDPE, PP and LLDPE.

Ide o nábehové materiály (nábeh výroby po odstávke), prechodové materiály (z jedného typu na druhý) a materiály, ktoré neprejdú technickou kontrolou (napr. z dôvodu odchýlky v MFI) podľa internej normy danej rafinérskej spoločnosti.

Materiály sú svojou kvalitou veľmi blízke primárnemu (virgin) materiálu. Jedná sa väčšinou iba o odchýlku v indexe toku taveniny resp. hustoty alebo vizuálnu odchýlku kedy granulát môže mať šedkastý resp. žltkastý odtieň. Tieto materiály sú naturálnej farby a nie sú škodlivé presne tak ako primárny (virgin) materiál. Nejedná sa o prepracovaný materiál so zápachom (ako je to v prípade regranulátu) a nevyskytuje sa tam cudzí materiál alebo špina. Avšak aj tieto materiály sa vyskytujú na európskom trhu v rôznej kvalite a preto doporučujeme nákup tohto materiálu len od skúsených dodávateľov v tejto oblasti.

Používaním tohto materiálu sa výrazne znižujú náklady na vstupnú surovinu čim sa zvyšuje konkurencie schopnosť daného výrobcu. Hlavnou nevýhodou tohto materiálu je jeho nedostatok.
