Workshop: 3D Printing of Ceramics and Multimaterials

The seminar Workshop: 3D Printing of Ceramics and Multimaterials took place 22.10.2026.

The workshop “3D Printing of Ceramics and Multimaterials: From Research to Industry” will provide a comprehensive overview of current ceramic additive manufacturing technologies and their practical applications. Experts from Brno University of Technology, Lithoz, the University of West Bohemia and the FGK Institute will present topics ranging from established ceramic 3D printing methods and custom manufacturing to ceramic electronics, medical applications, AI-based process control, and a new approach to multimaterial printing of ceramics and metals.

The afternoon programme includes a tour of the laboratories and bilateral meetings that will introduce participants to current  results and enable them to discuss potential cooperation with researchers and technology partners.
The workshop is primarily intended for industrial companies considering the use of ceramic or ceramic-metal components manufactured using additive technologies, as well as organisations interested in new opportunities in research, development and technological cooperation from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and across Europe.

Date and venue:  22 October 2026 at the CEITEC VUT premises in Brno.  (meeting room S2.02 CEITEC BUT)
Main language of communication: English.
The event is organised by the research team of the  MULTIMAT3D project and GlaCerHub, which also includes the Trenčín Regional Chamber of SOPK.
