SZÚ is building photovoltaic power plants in Brno and Jablonec nad Nisou

Strojírenský zkušební ústav (SZÚ) is implementing the construction of photovoltaic power plants (PV) in Brno and Jablonec nad Nisou under the RES+ project. The aim is to increase energy self-sufficiency, reduce electricity costs, and support the transition to renewable energy sources.

Strojírenský zkušební ústav (SZÚ) is implementing the construction of photovoltaic power plants at two locations – Brno and Jablonec nad Nisou. The project is part of the RES+ initiative, whose main goal is to support the development of new solar sources intended primarily for on-site electricity consumption.

In practice, the project is expected to deliver:

  • higher energy self-sufficiency,
  • lower electricity costs,
  • greater energy security,
  • support for the transition to renewable energy sources and a reduced carbon footprint.
