Strojírenský zkušební ústav (SZÚ) is implementing the construction of photovoltaic power plants (PV) in Brno and Jablonec nad Nisou under the RES+ project. The aim is to increase energy self-sufficiency, reduce electricity costs, and support the transition to renewable energy sources.

Strojírenský zkušební ústav (SZÚ) is implementing the construction of photovoltaic power plants at two locations – Brno and Jablonec nad Nisou. The project is part of the RES+ initiative, whose main goal is to support the development of new solar sources intended primarily for on-site electricity consumption.

In practice, the project is expected to deliver:

higher energy self-sufficiency,
lower electricity costs,
greater energy security,
support for the transition to renewable energy sources and a reduced carbon footprint.
