EUPC: New Foils Technical Committee formed within plastics converters' association / Zelcher elected founding president
With five member companies, a new Foils Technical Committee was recently formed within the European Plastics Converters (EuPC) association. Renato Zelcher, CEO of specialty film manufacturer Crocco and EuPC president until 2020, was unanimously elected as its founding president.
In addition to Crocco, the sub-organisation European Plastic Films (EuPF) currently includes the following film manufacturers: Trioworld, RKW, Armando Alvarez, and Ergis. The new group plans to focus primarily on topics related to the circular economy and recycled materials in connection with films and flexible packaging.
EuPC recently appointed Federica Gallicchio as managing director.
