STRACK Z142 Ejector Vibrator Unit from VMM s.r.o.: A reliable solution for difficult part ejection from molds
Injection moulding often brings situations where, after the mould opens, the part does not reliably separate from the ejector system. Sticking parts, deformation during ejection, or the need for manual intervention lead to downtime, higher scrap rates, and added pressure on operators. The solution is the STRACK Z142 ejector vibrator unit (Ejector Vibrator) – a mechanical component designed for injection moulds that generates a short, controlled vibration effect during part ejection using a precisely timed impulse.

How Does the STRACK Z142 Ejector Vibration Unit Work?

It is a mechanical module mounted directly in the mould's ejection system that generates a short impact pulse as the ejector moves. This pulse causes micro-vibration of the ejector, helping to release the part from the core or cavity without damaging its surface. The result is more stable and repeatable ejection even in demanding applications.

The device operates:

  • without electricity
  • without a pneumatic supply
  • without hydraulics
  • without modifications to the machine control system

This component is particularly suitable where parts stick to the ejectors or core, or deformation occurs during ejection, operator intervention needs to be reduced, pneumatic or external vibration systems cannot be used, or production automation requirements are high.

Design and Technical Characteristics of STRACK Z142

The STRACK Z142 ejector vibration unit is made of tool steel and designed for the cyclic loading typical of injection moulding. Its compact design allows it to be integrated into standard moulds, with installation requiring only modification of the ejector. For easy integration, an EDM electrode for die-sinking a pattern (structure) into a standard ejector is also available, allowing the modification to be carried out quickly and repeatably.

The basic operating parameters are approximately as follows:

  • operating temperature: approximately 20–180 °C
  • recommended ejection speed: approx. 50–100 mm/s
  • indicative service life: up to 250 000 cycles (depending on the application)

Benefits of the STRACK Z142 Ejector for Your Production

Using the STRACK Z142 ejector vibration unit has a practical impact on production stability. It increases ejection reliability, reduces the risk of damage to parts and helps prevent downtime caused by problematic cycles.

As it is a mechanical system without electronics or a power supply, maintenance is straightforward and mainly consists of regular inspection of the mechanical parts. When correctly installed and adjusted, it is a low-maintenance solution with high reliability.
