EuPC reacts to agreement reached on EU plastic carrier bags legislation

On Friday November 21 st , EU28 Member State representatives voted in favour of a compromise text reached between the European Parliament and the Council, on EU legislation for plastic carrier bags. This follows a legislative proposal from the European Commission on November 4 th 2013 to reduce consumption of lightweight plastic carrier bags to more responsible levels.
