Wood-plastic composite instead of wood – no painting or oiling

Wood-plastic composite (WPC) combines wood fibres with a polymer matrix. The result is a material that retains the look and feel of wood, but does not expand and contract with moisture like solid wood, does not splinter and does not require regular painting or oiling. For outdoor decking, this means a significant difference in operating costs: maintenance is reduced to routine washing.

Nordekka boards have a protective surface layer that increases resistance to moisture, stains and weathering. The manufacturer states a warranty of up to 25 years for its decking systems.

Imperial One – 360° co-extruded surface

The top range in the portfolio. The board is co-extruded around its entire perimeter, including the side edges, limiting the paths through which moisture can enter the material. The surface has a 3D relief that imitates the texture of natural wood.

Ultimate 2.0 – two finishes on one board

A reversible board with a different finish on each side. This allows the client to decide on the final appearance during installation, or to use one range of boards in two shades. The hollow construction reduces weight and makes handling easier.

The expansion gap between the boards and fixed structures is selected according to the temperature during installation – this should be considered when ordering the dimensions.

Takeo Bamboo – pressed bamboo

An alternative for customers looking for a more natural material. Bamboo fibres are pressed under high pressure to produce a board with high strength and hardness. Bamboo is also one of the most rapidly renewable raw materials, which is a selling point for projects that emphasise environmental performance.

A complete system, not just the board itself

How the ordering process works

The customer specifies the dimensions of the deck, the installation method and the preferred finish. Based on this, TITAN-TATRAPLAST prepares a material schedule including joists and clips, calculates the quantities required and prepares a quotation.
