DESMA Elastomer Technology at K 2025

DESMA Elastomer Technology at K 2025
DESMA will be presenting the SEALMASTER+ series, which has been expanded to include additional clamping forces, at K 2025. With this generation of horizontal machines, DESMA is focusing on speed, positioning accuracy, and a maintenance- and user-friendly overall design. This achieves maximum flexibility for process automation and article ejection. The exhibit at the trade fair, the SEALMASTER 300+, is equipped with a brushing and demolding system from DESMA Automation.

A new size, the SEALMASTER 450+ DUO, features new injection units that can inject from both sides (clamping side and classic injection side) for the first time. The modular, newly developed FIFO-C 90 injection unit allows simultaneous or delayed injection of different materials from the classic injection side and the movable clamping side. The nozzles are arranged centrally rather than laterally. No nozzle lift is required before opening the clamping unit.

The SEALMASTER 450+ DUO enables the fully automatic production of hollow bodies, 2-component articles, or even membranes, for example. Cold runner systems can also be used on both sides, or two central cold runners for 4-stage production of mass-produced articles. The floor space required for this SEALMASTER+ DUO does not differ significantly from that of a standard machine. This means that, compared to 2-stage production, double output is possible with almost the same floor space!

The new DESMA REFERENCE 300+ is the first size in a new series of vertical machines. Further models with a new clamping force range are currently being developed on this global machine platform and will be introduced to the market in succession. Many basic developments from the new SEALMASTER+ series have been incorporated into this machine design in order to achieve further improvements in productivity and ergonomics. This means that a drawer system for temperature control units, maximum hydraulic piping, pressure loss-optimized injection units, and, in many sizes, higher clamping force are now also available for vertical machines. DESMA also offers a choice of either an energy-efficient ServoGear2 drive or an energy-optimized asynchronous drive for all sizes. Both drive systems have their advantages depending on the application. The REFERENCE series is available with the latest process visualization, the DRC2035 TBM, which features a completely new software architecture. The REFERENCE 300+ exhibited at the K trade fair also features energy-saving tools such as EnergyControl+ and the specially developed PCF-Navigator Ecos integrated into the machine.

As a global system supplier, DESMA will present itself with its four mold making locations around the world. Major international customers appreciate the global availability of mold making capacities, regardless of where the individual molds or cold runner systems were originally produced. Global access to all data enables rapid intervention in the event of repairs or expansions.

DESMA has been producing brushing and demolding systems for external machine manufacturers for several years and operates its own business unit for this purpose.

DESMA Automation will present a new master computer architecture that also enables the linking of highly complex complete systems. In addition, a brush and demolding system from its own production will be used on the DESMA SEALMASTER+.
