DESMA: 50 years shaping ideas for your future

The 50^th anniversary and also this year’s DKT are fully marked by the motto: „50 years – shaping ideas for your future“. In addition to other highlights and innovations, two DESMA injection moulding machines of the S3 series will be showcased presenting new inspiring and convincing solutions for an increase in efficiency. Thus, DESMA is again proving that elastomer processing companies achieve above-average growth in terms of quality and quantity as a result of using service and technology of DESMA – and are therefore more successful.

Focus set on automation. Among other things, the emphasis of the DESMA booth 12-308 is on automation technology. With the advanced DESMA technology relating to robot automation, flexible changes in process sequence or article design, and a productive multiple-machine operation can be realized.

Saving energy with DESMA. The 360° solutions of DESMA support the total production process in every technical and economic aspect. Besides the multiple-axis ServoGear hydraulics, which in the meantime has been defining the industry standard in rubber injection moulding machine building, DESMA presents the EcoSilence temperature-control units. A new technology of DESMA which enables to save as much as 50 % of energy depending on article and production cycle as well as on the interaction with the DESMA EnergyControl software.

Realizing tremendous material savings. The biggest savings can still be achieved in materials. To this end, DESMA offers the innovative cold runner systems. In addition to the patented FlowControl cold runner block, the ITM-pot ZeroWaste won the Product Award of the German Rubber Society in the year 2012 as well. Both DESMA systems will be showcased in as continuously further advanced systems and with the latest functions.

The ease of controlling processes. The effective optimization and control of machines and processes is demonstrated by DESMA with the PropterLight system. A service of DESMA which is provided for a defined period and for certain needs e.g. when launching new articles or optimizing existing processes.

Taking even more advantage of DESMA technologies. Another emphasis is put on the recently developed e-training module „automation technology“. Here DESMA opens up holistic access to valuable expertise in order to control modern manufacturing systems perfectly and to effectively capitalize on all possibilities. In order to ideally prepare employees in advance, DESMA offers - apart from the conventional machine operation training and application technology courses - high-level injection moulding know-how in the scope of the key-to-knowledge campaign.
