Composite Components to expand Czech plant
With the planned expansion, the company aims to increase the production capacity of its Czech factory, which is located in the country’s northeast.
The manufacturer has already applied for an environmental impact assessment (EIA), ČIA said. Under the plan, the production facility’s output is to be increased from around 80 tonnes per year to 300 tonnes per year, according to figures from the news agency.
Composite Components plans to create a total of 170 new jobs at the production facility.
The Czech business says its Choceň-based plant supplies various manufacturers in the automotive and aircraft sectors. The company’s most important customers include local commercial vehicle makers, Iveco Czech Republic and SOR Libchavy; and aircraft producer JMB Aircraft.
Composite Components was established in mid-2007, on the acquisition of the Choceň-based facility from local manufacturer KLN. The Czech business makes most of its products using polyester and epoxy resins, and its factory in Choceň is ISO 9001 certified, according to company data released.
