Brenntag has a new acquisition: the company Leis Polytechnik Polymere Werkstoffe GmbH
Brenntag, the global market leader in chemical distribution, signed on an agreement to acquire Leis Polytechnik polymere Werkstoffe GmbH, based in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany.
This company specializes in the development, manufacture and distribution of high-performance polymer compounds (automotive, electronics, medical, packaging, construction).
The acquired business is expected to generate sales of approximately 11.3 million EUR in the financial year 2016. The closing of the transactions will occur in the course of the next weeks.
By acquiring Leis, Brenntag expanding our product portfolio and know-how in the field of polymers.
