MEGOL™ ECO (2nd Generation): high-performance recycled content TPE
It represents a significant leap forward in thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) with a strong focus on circularity. This advanced TPE features a recycled raw material content of over 60 %, contributing to a reduced product carbon footprint (PCF) compared to virgin compounds.
Key advantages include:
- High recycled content: More than 60 % recycled raw material.
- Environmental benefit: Reduced PCF compared to virgin alternatives.
- Versatile hardness: Available in a wide range from 30 Shore A to 40 Shore D.
- Excellent adhesion: Strong bond to Polypropylene (PP) for multi-component applications.
- Premium feel: Offers a desirable soft-touch surface.
- Automotive ready: Controlled level of emission and odour, making it suitable for demanding automotive interior applications.

Applications span across various sectors, including interior mats, window encapsulations, 2K components, and handles for tools and power tools.
ALTUGLAS™ R-LIFE™: sustainable PMMA with uncompromised optical quality
It is a groundbreaking family of injection grade acrylic resins that combines the highest optical quality with a significantly reduced carbon footprint. Designed for broad applicability, these resins are produced using either chemically recycled rMMA (minimum 50 %) or mechanically recycled pre-consumer PMMA (35 %), adhering to ISO 14021 standards.
These resins deliver comparable performance to virgin material, offering:
- Superior optical quality: Exceptional light-transmittance and highest clarity.
- Colourless purity: Ideal for thick wall applications where visual precision is paramount.
- Durability: High weathering and UV resistance, often eliminating the need for additional coatings.
- Lightweight: Approximately 50 % lighter than glass, contributing to energy efficiency in end products.
- Processability: Easy to process through injection moulding and extrusion.
- Circular potential: The product has the potential to be recycled multiple times, furthering its sustainability credentials.
The diverse applications include automotive & transportation, building & construction, home & household appliances, general lighting, and consumer goods & design.
K.D. Feddersen CEE GmbH is proud to bring these innovative and sustainable solutions to its Czech and Slovakian customers, reinforcing its commitment to supporting environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.
