Available testing capacity in a modern Q-LAB UV chamber in Jablonec nad Nisou
The chamber uses UVA-340+ lamps.
We perform tests according to the following standards:
- ČSN EN ISO 16474-3
- ČSN EN ISO 4892-3
It is also possible to carry out a cyclic ageing test according to Annex B of ČSN EN ISO 12944-6. This test is required for high-durability systems in categories C4 and C5.
Output:
A report issued by an accredited testing laboratory, including photo documentation and evaluation.
Why test:
UV radiation simulates and accelerates material ageing. This method can reveal changes in material properties when exposed to UV radiation. The following changes may occur:

- colour change,
- gloss loss,
- cracking,
- blistering,
- brittleness,
- loss of strength,
- oxidation.
These changes affect the appearance, performance, and service life of products. UV testing helps identify design and material weaknesses and makes it possible to predict product durability.
