Workshop: How to grow when the market is declining – inspiration from Baťa and Toyota

We invite you to a practical seminar that brings proven principles of long-term sustainability, leadership, and people development. Discover how Baťa and Toyota managed to grow even under extremely difficult conditions, and learn how to transfer these principles into your own company or team. The seminar is led by leading experts—Ján Košturiak and Lukáš Richter—with extensive experience across Europe and Japan.

At the seminar, we will draw inspiration from principles that worked at Baťa and Toyota and remain relevant today:

  • Why the real skill is not growing when everything is growing – but during a downturn.
  • How Baťa and Toyota built on people as the foundation of long-term sustainability.
  • What role a manager plays – not as a “controller”, but as a teacher, mentor and leader.
  • Why developing people is even more important than products, processes or technologies.
  • How you can apply these principles to your business.

After the seminar, we offer you the opportunity to take part in a site visit to the ŠVEC GROUP production centre in Vráble.

Participants will have the opportunity to look inside a modern facility with state-of-the-art technologies – from the development and manufacture of press tools through the assembly of sheet-metal assemblies to automated production lines.
You will see innovative solutions in smart manufacturing, robotics and process digitalisation that make ŠVEC GROUP one of the leaders in Slovakia's mechanical engineering industry.

Address: ŠVEC a SPOL, s.r.o., Staničná 502, 952 01 Vráble-Pri stanici, Slovakia
