Sales of injection molding machines in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2025

Since 2011, the PlasticPortal editorial team has conducted an annual survey of injection moulding machine sales in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Injection Moulding Machine Sales Statistics in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

As part of the survey for 2025, 27 companies were contacted. Although five smaller suppliers did not provide data, their volume was estimated not to be statistically significant. Thus, sales of a total of 412 injection moulding machines were officially confirmed in the Czech and Slovak markets for 2025.

Of these, 313 injection moulding machines were sold in the Czech Republic, representing the same result as in 2024. This is an important signal, because the Czech market did not decline further year on year. On the other hand, it still lags behind the record year of 2017, compared with which sales are as much as 52% lower. Interestingly, the decline in large injection moulding machines was offset by growth in the small machine segment, where sales rose by 20% year on year.

In Slovakia, 99 injection moulding machines were sold in 2025, which was 5 machines fewer than in 2024. The most significant year-on-year decline occurred in the small injection moulding machines segment, where sales fell by 25%. The Slovak market therefore remains noticeably weaker than in the past, and compared with the record year of 2017, total sales are as much as 50% lower.

Although 2025 did not bring a return to the strongest years, it also confirmed that the market remains active. The Czech Republic maintained its 2024 sales level, while Slovakia saw only a slight decline. Even in a more challenging period, it is therefore clear that companies remain interested in investing in new technologies and modernising production.
