ORLEN Unipetrol introduces new brand Enviten�, a product line of recycled polyethylene and polypropylene

From January next year, recycled polyethylene (r-PE) and polypropylene (r-PP) will also be offered under the Enviten® brand.

The new product represents a new standard for an environmentally friendly material. It is an innovative solution for sustainable industry and recycling. The ability to stabilize with additive blends that extend its life in use makes it a great choice for a variety of applications. ORLEN Unipetrol Group is thus taking concrete steps towards its goal of exceeding a 15% share of recycled material in petrochemical production by 2030.

r-PE and r-PP Enviten® are supplied as pellets in homogenised batches that provide consistent end-use quality. Pellets are stored in vacuum sacks with protective packaging, which protects the material against weather conditions. Both products are produced by ORLEN Unipetrol Group in its subsidiary REMAQ in Otrokovice, which is a Czech leader and a leading player in Central and Eastern Europe and is engaged in the production and trading of plastic recyclates, especially polypropylene, polyethylene and polystyrene.

Enviten® r-PE can be used for injections, extrusions, and blow moulding. Thus, the final products include crates, pallets, construction products, gardening tools, corrugated pipes, non-pressure pipes, boards, containers up to 10 L, or nubby foils. Enviten® r-PP, offers a broad scale of applications, depending on the customer’s specific needs. Therefore, the final products can also include household and office items, various tools, boards, packaging, and other products for the automotive and construction industry.
