Celebration of the 50th anniversary of WITTMANN GROUP’s founding

Distinguished Guests from the Management of WITTMANN GROUP

The celebrations were attended by the top representatives of WITTMANN GROUP. Mr Dr. Werner Wittmann, founder of the entire group, the group's president, Mr Dipl.-Ing. Michael Wittmann, Sales Director of Wittmann Technology GmbH Mr Markus Wolfram, Sales Director of Wittmann Battenfeld GmbH Mr Jochen Pernsteiner, other distinguished international guests, representatives of the media and local government.

During the presentation session, Mr Dr. Werner Wittmann and Mr Dipl.-Ing. Michael Wittmann described the development of the company and the group from their founding to their present form. Both sales directors then introduced visitors to the latest WITTMANN machines and equipment, which reflect the current requirements of industrial production for efficiency, automation and reliability.

Topics Included Automation, DATAMAX and the Plastics Market Situation

Presentations by representatives of Wittmann Battenfeld CZ spol. s r.o. covered examples of their own products. First, Mr Ondřej Pošmourný, Head of the Automation Department, presented examples of implemented custom automation solutions. Then Aleš Beďač and Milan Vácha introduced, in a very unconventional and entertaining way, their own DATAMAX system for collecting and managing data obtained from the central granulate conveying and drying system.

Our leading plastics industry expert Ing. Aleš Hlavička, Director of the Business Group of the Plastics and Elastomers Division at RADKA spol. s r.o. Pardubice, also appeared as a guest speaker, with a presentation on the highly topical subject of The Situation in the European Plastics Market amid the Dynamics of Current Events.

Despite the difficult economic and geopolitical situation currently prevailing worldwide and in the Czech Republic, more than 100 prominent customer representatives from over 50 companies accepted the invitation. The total number of visitors exceeded 150.

EcoPower, WITTMANN Robotics and Automation in Practice

The entire event took place at the company premises of Wittmann Battenfeld CZ spol. s r.o. Customers were able to explore interesting component production applications on the latest electric injection moulding machines of the EcoPower brand, which feature very low electricity consumption and high overall energy efficiency, equipped with automation systems featuring WITTMANN robots and other equipment from the extensive product range.

The event concluded with an evening programme that provided an opportunity for informal meetings, discussions and strengthening business relationships.

According to feedback from participants, the event was of a very high standard, and customers were able to see directly for themselves how far the company had once again progressed, particularly in automation, over three years.
