Electrical Design Engineer for Functional Safety of Machinery

We are looking for a new colleague for the position of Electrical Design Engineer who is confident working with electrical diagrams, selecting suitable electrical components and inspecting electrical installation work. You will design suitable components for the functional safety of machinery and professionally supervise on-site implementation.
We have been operating on the Czech market for 15 years, and our facilities are located in Adamov, Blansko District. We specialise in industrial automation and machinery safety.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- reading technical drawings and electrical diagrams of machinery, identifying requirements and preparing project specifications,
- selecting and requesting quotations for electrical materials for machinery according to the relevant diagrams,
- preparing cost calculations and presenting proposed solutions,
- preparing specifications for the creation of electrical diagrams or independently producing electrical diagrams,
- coordinating external workers and subcontractors and negotiating terms,
- inspecting completed work,
- ordering goods on a just-in-time basis to ensure smooth project implementation,
- coordinating cooperation between departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- secondary-school or university education in electrical engineering – mandatory,
- relevant professional experience,
- ability to read electrical documentation and electrical diagrams,
- familiarity with applicable standards, such as ČSN EN 60204-1,
- good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel,
- independence, reliability, attention to detail and a proactive approach,
- strong technical knowledge,
- ability to work effectively as part of a team.
