The renaming is symbolic of the integration of all Reydel Automotive entities in Europe, Asia, and South America into the Samvardhana Motherson Group which is well known as innovative, quality focused and a reliable partner to numerous industries.
As part of the Polymers & Modules Division, Reydel will become sister company to SMP and MATE.
SMP is a leading expert in high quality interior and exterior modules mainly for upper car segments with locations worldwide and headquarters in Germany. MATE is one of the largest suppliers of moulded parts, fully assembled modules mainly to the Indian automotive industry with headquarters and operations in India.
