MOL Plugee will join one of the largest electric vehicle charging networks in Europe

The MOL Group and DKV Mobility have established a strategic partnership aimed at supporting the development of sustainable mobility in Central and Eastern Europe. The MOL Group's charging infrastructure is now fully integrated into DKV Mobility’s international roaming network, significantly expanding opportunities for electric vehicle users. In six countries across the region – Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia – customers now have access to more than 480 new charging stations, offering convenient, reliable, and seamless cross-border charging.

The partnership is closely linked to MOL Group's Shape Tomorrow 2030+ strategy, one of whose  pillars is the transformation of mobility in Central Europe and support for the use of alternative energy sources. MOL Group also aims to provide convenient, reliable and cross-border e-mobility solutions for both individual customers and corporate fleets.

“The future of mobility will depend on multiple energy sources – and our goal is to offer efficient and accessible solutions for each of them. Our cooperation with DKV Mobility is further proof that MOL Group is successfully integrating alternative forms of mobility with an international reach,” said Tamás Czikora, Head of Mobility at MOL Group.

“The integration of MOL Plugee charging stations represents another milestone in the expansion of our acceptance infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe,” said Sven Mehringer, Director of the Energy & Vehicle Services division at DKV Mobility, and added: “MOL Group is our long-standing and strong partner in the fuel sector. We are all the more pleased that together we are also pushing the boundaries in e-mobility.”

The MOL Plugee charging network is now available through the GreenFlux platform – a subsidiary of DKV Mobility. This makes MOL Group's network part of one of the largest e-mobility networks in Europe, which currently includes almost 938 000 charging stations.

In recent years, MOL Group has invested significantly in electric charging infrastructure throughout the region and continues to expand its services under the MOL Plugee brand, as well as through the MOL Move digital platform.
