Piovan was founded in 1934 as a company focused on mechanical engineering. In 1964, it moved its operations to the plastics industry, specializing in the development and production of peripheral equipment.
Today, Piovan is part of the Piovan Group, which also includes companies such as Conair, Thermal Care, FDM, Penta, Pelletron, Doteco, and Una-Dyn. This group operates 14 manufacturing plants in Italy, Germany, USA, Brazil, and China. It has commercial and service branches in over 40 countries, and the group employs more than 2000 experts worldwide.
Piovan specializes in the development, production, and supply of automation systems and technologies for storage, suction, drying, and dosing of plastic granulates and powders, as well as cooling and tempering technologies. It also provides software solutions that enable centralized control and monitoring of all peripheral systems in production.
