Injection Mould Lubrication as the Key to Stable Production

Modern injection moulding processes are becoming increasingly demanding. Manufacturers today require not only high-quality moulded parts, but also maximum production stability, minimal scrap rates and the shortest possible production downtime. Even a seemingly minor problem, such as insufficient lubrication of moving mould components or lubricant transfer onto a moulded part, can result in increased costs, customer complaints or the loss of valuable production time.

A Proven Solution for Demanding Applications

Based on our own many years of experience, we recommend HIGHLUB 400 SYN FG PFPE lubricant for lubricating ejectors and other heavily loaded injection mould components.

This premium lubricant provides long-lasting lubrication even under the most demanding operating conditions. When applied correctly, it significantly reduces the risk of contamination of moulded parts, ensures smooth mould operation and extends the intervals between maintenance interventions.

Grease and a Convenient Spray

We supply HIGHLUB 400 SYN FG as a grease intended primarily for regular injection mould maintenance.

For applications where speed, precision and clean application are crucial, we also offer HIGHLUB 400 SYN FG in spray form. This version has become particularly popular for lubricating hard-to-reach areas and for highly demanding injection moulding operations.

The special formulation creates a very thin and uniform lubricating layer, which ensures reliable lubrication while virtually eliminating lubricant transfer onto moulded parts. The result is higher production quality, lower scrap rates and a longer injection mould service life.

A Premium Mould Release Solution – PC EXTRA

For mould release, we use our unique product PC EXTRA, a dry release agent intended primarily for releasing moulded parts made from PC, PMMA and ABS, but it can also be used successfully with a range of other polymers.

PC EXTRA does not transfer onto moulded parts at all, and therefore has no negative effect on subsequent surface treatments such as metallisation, painting or printing. This makes it an ideal solution for applications where absolute surface cleanliness is essential.

It is very frequently used in the production of automotive headlights with subsequent metallisation, where the highest surface quality without any traces of release agent is required.

PC EXTRA is a universal solution that can be applied to various types of moulds – whether for high-gloss finishes, textured surfaces or technical moulded parts. It always helps ensure reliable mould release without compromising the quality of the finished part.
