Spolana s.r.o., belonging to ORLEN Unipetrol RPA, modernized the production of granular ammonium sulphate
The product – Spolsan® G – is designed for many applications in agriculture. It is suitable both for gardeners and large-scale agricultural production. Spolana plans to manufacture 45,000 tonnes of this product this year. The investment in production technology modernisation exceeded CZK 25 million.
The project of revitalising ammonium sulphate production facilities is part of the parent ORLEN Group plans focused on producing environmentally safe nitrogen industrial fertilisers. These certified fertilisers are safe, environmentally friendly, and human-health neutral within their entire lifecycle, from production to use. Thus, they meet the stringent requirements posed by the Product Stewardship safety programme announced by the international association Fertilizers Europe.
