The school was founded 03.09.2007, two schools with more than 35 years of tradition and the SOU Novozámocká 220, Nitra and SOU SA Eater, Dvorčianska 629, Nitra. Intention of the founder, who is a self governing region in addition to the rationalization of secondary schools and the merger of two successful schools create the conditions for the synergistic effect of preparing graduates for successful careers in the required level of expertise and qualifications of teaching staff, school knowledge, social climate and the composition of the junior team.
The school provides education in supporting teaching and learning-oriented - electronics, engineering and plastics processing.
In addition to supporting the professional schools prepare professionals in other fields of arts and crafts / wood-carver, and goldsmith klenotník, blacksmith and locksmith /, techno - economic, environmental and clothing industry.
The school is one of the members of the Slovak zakladajúch plastics cluster. In collaboration with members of the cluster and with the upcoming Law on secondary education is to adapt the school system and curricula so that graduates of full qualification to the needs of plastics processors.
At present they are for the plastics processing industry for the learning and teaching unions Gumárne plastikár, chemist - rubber and plastic processing, machinery and equipment mechanic, mechanic adjuster.
