St�ubli shows the power of robots

The first year was a huge success, in 5 days was the venue visited by 500 professional visitors. That meant only one thing: the current hall is not enough and it’s necessary to move. Exhibition center IDEON was the right choice with four times bigger space. The number of visitors reached almost 1000 and more space means more partners. Each visitor had a chance to see the presentation of 19 partners companies.

The most interesting exhibit was HelMo by Stäubli. The original robotic arm (TX2 range) combined with AGV (automated guided vehicle). This unique combination allows free movement at the workplace and change workstations as needed. This technology is very promising and as an example, we can use the usage of HelMo in Allschwil, Switzerland at Stäubli plant for connectors.

Many visitors also valued the possibility to see the whole TS2 range in one place. This new generation of SCARA robots surpasses its predecessors in every possible attribute and brings even a new range of 100 cm with TS2-100. Partners companies presented plenty of interesting applications for automatization including lasers, control elements, safety technologies or cameras. Special focus was on the food industry which had its own section. The reason for this is obvious. Growth of the food industry is exceptional and Stäubli senses its advantage here. Stäubli robots with the hygienic design are unique and strong in this environment. They can work directly with primal resources without any wrapping.

But this event was not only about robots. Experiences from the last year have shown a really big interest in lectures. So this year there were even two parallel lines of professional lectures. In the main lecture hall was possible to see representatives from Pilz, Beckhoff, Sanezoo, TMT Chrudim, Asyril, Murrelektronik, LASCAM, and MATEX. At the second one focused on the food industry were companies TMT Chrudim, Techfood, Murtfeld, Endress+Houser and as a special guest representative from EHEDGE (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group).

 You can see the program was very interesting and valuable. We believe in two years we can expect a very well done professional event again. With coverage of the most interesting subjects which automation and associated fields can bring. There is nothing much remains than keep the fingers crossed. Events like this are the most important for our industry to show everyone what the industry is capable of.
