Planning visit in the UK
On the 19.6 - 23.6.2012, the project manager and executive director of Slovak plastics cluster and representative of A-OMEGA, Ltd. in the UK attended a preparatory visit to the next project in the field of education.
Navštívili City of Wolverhampton College - Polymer Training and Innovation Centre v Telforde, kde rokovali o možnej spolupráci na projekte prenosu inovácií v oblasti vzdelávania. Navštívili tiež University of Wolverhampton v Telforde - Centrum Excelentnosti.
Druhá časť prípravnej návštevy bola venovaná analýze existujúceho systému štandardov odborného vzdelávania. Skupina navštívila aj vzdelávaciu spoločnosť G&A Moulding Technology Ltd. v Peterborough, ktorá sa zaoberá prípravou odborníkov v oblasti vstrekovania, vyfukovania a extrúzie.

Okrem toho v uvedenej spoločnosti prebehlo aj rokovanie so zástupcom Cogent SSC Limited.
Táto organizácia je v súčasnosti poverená tvorbou nových štandardov odborného vzdelávania v rámci jednotlivých sektorov, tiež v plastikárskom sektore. Prípravná návšteva pre projektového manažéra Slovenského plastikárskeho klastra bola uhradená na základe zmluvy o poskytnutí finančného príspevku (číslo zmluvy -12332 0972) z podprogramu Leonardo da Vinci, v rámci Programu celoživotného vzdelávania.
