MSV 2014 with a complete range of industrial technologies

The 56th International Engineering Fair will take place in late September and early October on 29/9 to 3/10 2014 and five other specialized exhibitions will be taking place simultaneously: 9th International Trade Fair for Machine Tools IMT, 15th International Foundry Fair FOND-EX, 22nd International Welding Engineering Fair WELDING, 5th International Trade Fair for Surface Technology PROFINTECH and 4th International Plastics, Rubber and Composites Fair PLASTEX.

A concentrated presentation of key fields
This year's edition of the biggest industrial fair in Central Europe will again take place in the extended version and the scheme customary for the even years. The date merger of the engineering and technology fairs proved a right decision in 2010 and 2012, when it stimulated significant synergies and offered visitors a complete overview of the latest news and trends in manufacturing technology major fields.

MSV will have a wide range with eight specialized sectorial units. The main theme remains, with a cross-cutting project of AUTOMATION - Measurement, Control, Automation and Control Technology. It takes place for the seventh time and will aim to highlight the use of industrial automation, information technology and sophisticated control in production processes. The Czech and Moravian Electrical and Electronic Association is a project partner. Another cross-sectional project will be in its sixth year:Transfer of Technology and Innovation has become a popular hub for networking between the manufacturing and development sector. It is a concentrated range of scientific and research capabilities for industrial use, with the participation of universities and research centres from the Czech Republic. Job Fair MSV is another on-going successful project, a one-day job fair of job opportunities in engineering, power engineering and other technical fields. It is also certain that the supporting programme will include the international meeting of businessmen, Contact - Contract that is organised by the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Brno is a b2fair. The status of a partner country of this year’s MSV has been offered to the Russian Federation.

MSV Brno

Like every other year, this year features the biennial International Machine Tools ExhibitionIMT as the largest show of the sector in Central and Eastern Europe, alongside MSV. An extended presentation of machining technology is expected as traditionally the key and largest sector of the Brno trade fair. Attention will also be focused on foundry technology, which has been presented in Brno at the International Foundry Fair FOND-EX since 1972. Welding will also be showcased in a greater extent – the International Welding Engineering Fair WELDING had premiered in Brno in 1969 and just like FOND- EX has been a long-term number one of the sector in Central Europe. For the fifth time, International Surface Technology Fair PROFINTECH returns to the exhibition centre, presenting novelties in finishing. Trends of another dynamically developing field are shown at the International Plastics, Rubber and Composites PLASTEX. The four technology trade fairs are only held in even-numbered years as a logical complement of MSV and make this year’s offer even more attractive for an even wider range of professional visitors.
