Investment group Aakon Capital acquired the Slechta company

The company provides its customers with services related to moulds polishing and moulds servicing. Miroslav Slechta, the founder and the former owner sold his 100 % share to Aakon Capital and Peter Koehler.

Aakon Capital, an investment groupn investment group focused on small and medium enterprises, was impressed by Slechta’s domain specific expertise and its promising growth perspective. Aakon Capital is managed by Leos Novotny jr., the majority owner of LEO Express, which is one of the major independent passenger transportation companies in the CEE region. Aakon Capital seek and invests in perspective firms with the intention of strategic development. In addition to Aakon Capital, the transaction is financed by Peter Köhler and management.

Slechta is a leading player in the field of technical and high gloss polishing moulds, mould service, laser engraving and welding of metals. The company cooperates with major international firms in the field of manufacturing of plastic injection moulds primarily for the automotive, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry. Slechta has more than 60 employees and turnover of approximately 3 million EUR.

Chief Executive Officer of the company, Lud�k Opat�il, says: “In cooperation with the new owner, we want to strengthen the Slechta Company, company with more than 20-year of tradition, within the region and support growth of this important employer Jindrichohradecky region. Not only a promising growth plan of the company, but also higher demand from our current clients for next months, leads us to increase the number of employees. From beginning this year, we have been actively seeking for new employees, both for moulds polishing and moulds servicing, where we would like to hire 3-7 new toolmakers immediately.”
