20.01.2012 | Produkce vysokohustotního polyetylénu v Unipetrolu RPA překročila hodnotu 5 milionů tun. Výrobě polyetylénu se společnost věnuje od roku 1976 a v současnosti produkuje 950 až 1000 tun polyetylénu za den. Polyetylén je termoplast, který se používá například při výrobě trubek. Vyrobených 5 milionů tun polyetylénu by stačilo na zkonstruování trubky o průměru 2,5 centimetru, která by 748 krát obkroužila Zemi podél jejího rovníku.
